January 2 (catch up)
Today when I came home from work I enlisted my man to think of "something yellow" for the photo of the day. He thought for a while and then came to me with a car from his car collection. (I can't complain about said collection as I have a number of teddy bears).  The croton was begging for a photo taken so I obliged. I just got a photo before it poured rain!  You can see some drops on the subjects...  Isn't the croton showing some great colours!

January 1 - catchup!
I growled at my man yesterday as I tried to step outside to catch a sky photo and he had too much "stuff" in the road to get through easily to the back door.  I got through the obstacle course and snapped a few pics for the #fmsphotosaday and the candied version as well.
I could see a whole scrapbook page with this sky (in various shades) as a background.

This is the title page for my new 12x12 Project Life weekly life / planner / art book. I've tried to incorporate my word (Create), my phrase (Create something new every day), mantras (Smiles, Relax, Just Start, Best Year Yet), my favourite companies (Studio Calico, Stampin' Up!, Simon Says Stamps, Technique Tuesday, Scrappy Canary to same some) and my favourite techniques (pasting, punching, water colours, buttons, ribbons, string, stickers, project life!)

This is one of my most favourite birthday cards I've made in the last month.. combines all sorts of pretty stickers, wooden pieces, washi, embellishments, papers... the recipient loved it!
