Seek home for rest, for home is best

That above is an affirmation by Thomas Tusser.  The "Seek home for rest, for home is best" comment not the "Sometimes all you need is a billion dollars". I just threw that one in for free!
According to Wikipedia, Thomas Tusser (Born 1524 – 3 May 1580) was an English poet and farmer, and he has many well known quotes that appear against his name.  I think he's my new favourite poet. A lot of his words I've seen in affirmations before. I will not mention them as perhaps I'll need them for future!

So what does it mean though? I feel it means to create a place where your spirit can put its feet up. As I'm into creating something new every day, why not create a place for my spirit?  I need to shed my troubles at the door and slip into my sanctuary. Where would that be?  Right in the middle of a big pile of scraps (stock, materials, planning accessories, card, etc)  that I can create something with!  I love to sort.  Then I love to use what I've sorted.  This is what gives me relaxation and restores me ready for the next day.  What restores you?  Where is your safe place?  Is it Home Sweet Home?   I think I look on "Home, Sweet Home" in a whole different viewpoint now.

These cute little clips are what I've been working on lately.   Some rhinestones, some sequins and some 5cm coloured paper clips and a bit of glue.  I have a lot of colours and I'm just trying to work out how to list them on Etsy. Then you can find them there in all of your favourite colours!
