Talk about light, joy and sweetness

So let's talk about some of that Light, Joy and Sweetness stuff (by the way, the phrase was attributed by Rumi apparently).  Yesterday, I mentioned that I strategically placed a #RandomLoveLetter (follow the tag on Instagram for more information) on my work colleague's desk and I also alluded that she had then placed said note on her flowers on her desk.  I noticed on Facebook, that she had it up on her status.  It is amazing when just a little positive action can cause further ripples. I snapped the pic from the profile so that I can show you.  See, three spectacle cases!  See - I still can't get over that.  Oh, you too would like to leave these lovely sticky notes around the world get to it and then snap pics and load them onto Instagram. I'm sure Sarah and Olivia would be thrilled that there were more going towards their target of one million #RandomLoveLetters.  Check http://www.sarahshotts.com/ for more details.  While you there, also check her new e-book that she has going - "Venture Planner". I've downloaded one and I'm having fun having adventures and recording in my "book".   I will tell you more later about that.

Last night, as my new "creation" in my mission of "Create Something New Every Day" I made some tags.  Not just any tags, these were ones made mostly from recycled papers and there's also some cut from Pink Paislee sheet. The twine is from The Twinery and the ribbon from my stash.  I had planned on making 10 of each colour and then changed that to a couple of each colour / type into a little set. They are in my Etsy shop if you want to have a look-see.  The colours grabbed me and I thought that I'd have a couple of the floral/swirl and couple of the plain ones.  Perhaps, I'll do decorative ones in another set.

For some more sweetness to add to my "Light, Joy and Sweetness", I'll include these. Found on Facebook last night, so they've been passed around a bit.  (Around the world a couple of times as it does with Facebook posts) But, I thought they'd be useful if you wanted something quick to bake and the cake mixes could be in your pantry and a can of drink could be easily be picked up an added.  The instructions are to make as directed on the cake mix except you don't need to add oil / butter, sugar, milk or eggs.
I've found you can use a couple of soft drinks that we have available that could replace those listed on the chart that we can't obtain easily in Australia.
